Architect and Town planner, graduated in 1983 at Santa Úrsula University in Río de Janeiro, Brazil.  As an Art Manager she undertook  the following art projects :  “Art Goes to School “ setting  up  of  ten exhibitions related to  school  assignments, directed  and coordinated the first virtual gallery of Argentine tuxys.com, curated  and organized art shows in non-conventional locations like the art exhibit designed to celebrate the Centenary at the National Art University (UNA). Currently directs an art website dedicated to the communication and recording of local and international art and a portal of artists devoted to the circulation and sale of pieces of art.


Arquitecta y planificadora urbana graduada en 1983 en la Universidad Santa Úrsula de Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Como gestora cultural desarrolló los siguientes proyectos: “El arte va a la Escuela”, instalación de diez exhibiciones relacionadas con la curricula escolar; dirigió y coordinó la primera galería de arte virtual de Argentina; fue curadora y organizadora de exhibiciones de arte en espacios no convencionales, entre ellas las exhibición diseñada para celebrar el Centenario en la Universidad Nacional de Arte (UNA). Actualmente dirige una página web dedicada a la comunicación y registro de arte local e internacional, así como un portal orientado a la circulación y comunicación de la producción de artistas visuales.

Director of Da Silva Gallery, established in 2010, represents local, regional and international renowned artists, is an important part of the art scene in the metro New York area. DaSilva Gallery has organized more than forty exhibits in its New Have location. In 2012 he curated “Uruguay, in the lower east side” at the Clemente Soto Velez Center in NYC.  Gabriel currently is a board member of Sites Projects, a public arts organization bringing artist from around the world to create site-specific projects in New Haven, more than twenty projects has been completes to date. As president of the Westville Village Renaissance Alliance he sought the revitalization of the Westville Village by bringing Art, historic preservation and commerce the main street.


Director de la Galería DaSilva, establecida en 2010, representa a artistas de renombre con proyección regional e internacional, así como también es importante referente de la región metropolitana de Nueva York. DaSilva Gallery ha organizado más de cuarenta exposiciones en la galería de New Haven. En 2012 fue curador de “Uruguay, in the lower East Side” en el Centro Clemente Soto Vélez en Nueva York. Gabriel Actualmente es miembro del directorio de Sites Projects, una organización de arte público donde  artista de todo el mundo son contratados para crear proyectos site-specific en New Haven, más de veinte proyectos ha sido completados hasta la fecha. Como presidente de Westville Village Renaissance Alliance es responsable de la puesta en valor del centro de Westville Village con la combinasion de arte, Conservación histórica y el comercio en Main Street.
