She explore individual and collective memory and the foundation of our identity.
Her works have been exhibited at the DUMBO Arts Festival, New York, Palm Beach International Biennial, Florida; Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition Bellevue, WA, Museo del Barrio, New York; Museum of the Americas, Washington DC; Griffiss Sculpture Park, Rome, NY; Miura Museum of Art, Matsuyama City, Japan; Briggens Museum, Bergen, Norway, Deutsche Bank Foundation, New York; Piedmont Biennial, Torino, Italy; National Endowment for the Arts, Buenos Aires, Recoleta Cultural Center, Buenos Aires, MAT Tigre Art Museum, Buenos Aires.
She was the recipient of the following awards: 2014, Ibermuseum Prize; 2009 Pollock-Krasner Fellowship, New York; 2007 Visiting Artist at the American Academy in Rome, Italy; in 2006 she won the First Prize at the Biennial of Sculpture in Public Spaces, Palm Beach, Florida. Lucia has been an artist in residence at Sculpture Space, Utica; School of Visual Arts: Public Art Residency, New York; CAMAC, Marnay-sur-Seine, France; NYFA’s Mentoring Program, New York and will be in Miami from September through December for the ArtCenter SF residency. She was part of the First international action of +GALLERyLABs, SUM GALLERY I, at the international contemporary art fair Scope Miami 2016.
Graduada en la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Buenos Aires, Prilidiano Pueyrredón. Sus obras exploran la memoria colectiva e individual y la fundación de la identidad.
Han sido exhibidas en el Festival de Arte DUMBO de Nueva York, en la Bienal Internacional de Palm Beach, Florida; Esculturas en el Exterior en Bellevue, Museo del Barrio en Nueva York; Museo de las Américas, Washington DC; Parque de Escutluras Griffiss en Roma ; Museo Miura en Matsuma, Japón; Museo Briggens en Bergen, Noruega; Deutsche Bank Foundation, New York; Bienal Piedmonte en Torino, Italia; Fondo Nacional de las Artes, Buenos Aires, Centro Cultural Recoleta, Buenos Aires; Museo de Arte de Tigre, Buenos Aires. Ha recibido los siguientes reconocimientos: 2014, Premio Ibermuseum; 2009 Beca Pollock-Krasner, New York; 2007 Artista visitante en la Academia Panamericana de Roma, Italia. En el 2006 ha sido artista visitante en la Academia Americana en Roma, Italia y obtiene el Primer Premio en la Bienal de Escultura en Espacios Públicos de Palm Beach, Florida. Ha participado en las residencias Espacio Escultura en Utica, Arte Público de la Escuela de Artes Visuales de New York y CAMAC, Marnay Sur – Seine en Francia. Ha formado parte del NYFA Programa de Mentores y en Miami de la Residencia Centro de Arte SF. Participó en la primera acción internacional de +GALLERyLABs, SUM GALLERY I, en la feria internacional de arte contemporáneo Scope Miami 2016.
