Rodolfo Zagert was born at Eldorado, Argentina. He studied Art and Architecture in Buenos Aires. At the age of 19 Lirolay Gallery, in Buenos Aires, featured him in his first individual exhibition as painter.
He continued his University Education in Germany as scholarship holder devoting his time to keep on learning Art and Architecture from 1972 to 1976. Later he decided to remain in Germany working as architect and painter. He moved to Palma de Mallorca in 1991.
His work as architect was focussed on the restoration of historic buildings. At same time his work as a painter was exhibited in many places. In 1999 he recived the prestigious Ciudad de Palma Award to Architecture because of his restoration of a 16th century palace.
Many of his paintings are in possession of private collectors and public institutions. Since 2006 he has shared his time between Mallorca and Buenos Aires.
He was part of the Second action of +GALLERyLABs, , at the international contemporary Art fair Málaga ´17.
Nace en Eldorado Misiones, Argentina.
Estudia arte y arquitectura en Buenos Aires. A los 19 realiza su primera exposición en la Galería Lirolay de esa ciudad. En 1972 continúa becado sus estudios en Alemania.
Permanece en ese país donde desarrolla su producción artística en el campo de la plástica y la arquitectura hasta 1991, año en el que se traslada a Palma de Mallorca.
Como arquitecto se especializó en la rehabilitación, obteniendo el prestigioso Premio Ciudad de Palma en el año 1999 por la restauración de un palacio del siglo XVI
Desde el 2003 se dedica exclusivamente a la pintura y en el año 2006 se radica definitivamente en Argentina.
Participó en la segunda acción de +GALLERyLABs, en la feria internacional de arte contemporáneo Art Faire Málaga´17.
